Chinook

Super alpha  with  high vigor & yield.  Dual purpose  with medium heavy aroma, with spicy, pine resiny, grapefruit character.   Primarily used for bittering; some aroma and dry hopping. 24-40” side arms.   Substitute :  Galena, Nugget, Cluster hops. Popular  with both craft and major brewers.

·         Alpha Acids: 10-14%

·         Aroma: moderate-high spicy, piney, grapefruit tones

·         Yield: High – 1600 -2200 lbs/acre

·         Maturity: medium late

·         Storage stability: good 60-75% remaining

·         Beer Styles:  pale ales, lagers, IPAs, steam beer, and heavy bodied dark ales.

*Note: most hop plants grown under ideal condition produce between 1.5lbs - 2.5lbs of DRIED  hops per year.

What it is: You will recieve ONE "COMPLETE CROWN". A "COMPLETE CROWN" is qualified as a plant that is a minimum of 1 growing season old with a well developed root system with multiple breaks taken from healthy vigorous stock.  It is professional quality and since it is a live rooted plant offers you the best chance of successfully growing and producing your favorite varieties of hops!  Most varieties are producing cones at the time we process your order!

What it's NOT:  Unlike the competition this is NOT a Rhizome! A Rhizome is a part of a hop plants root system that grows horizontally underground putting out shoots. In other words they sell you a dirty stick you're supposed to plant in the ground and hope a disease free plant starts growing.  As an added bonus Rhizome's are only available for a short period of time when the large hop yards harvest their hops.  Are you tired of checking one website after another only to see the same thing?
