This is a one-of-a-kind collectible item. It is a Green Bay Packer cheesehead signed by many game designers, artists, actors, webcomic artists, and writers.
This was a present from my friends, who all went to the 2000 GenCon conference in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, while I stayed behind and did all their work. This was the GenCon where D&D 3 was revealed. My friends wanted to give me something unique, so they bought a cheesehead from a local vendor and got many attendees to sign it, including:
ON THE TOP
Richard Le Parmentier - Played Admiral Motti in Star Wars: A New Hope. Told off Darth Vader and got choked – you know the guy.
Dave Arneson - Co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons. According to my friends, Dave actually put the cheesehead on after signing it, granting it additional power.
Greg Stafford - Creator of the world of Glorantha.
Ramon Perez - One of the main artists for Palladium.
John Kovalic - Creator of Dork Tower. He also drew Carson on it.
Neil Barret, Jr. - Writer of fantasy, science fiction, mystery/suspense, and historical fiction.
Tracy Hickman - Writer, co-creator of the Dragonlance series of novels.
Peter Woodward - Actor, played Galan on Babylon 5: Crusade.
ON THE BACK
Andrew Greenberg - One of the primary writers on Fading Suns, which is why he signed it, "Fading cheese!"
Gary Gygax - The other co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons. I think I can safely say that this is the only cheesehead in existence signed by both the creators of D&D.
Sam Wood - Artist. His work has been featured on many of WOTC's products, including Dungeons & Dragons 3, Dragon Magazine and many Magic: The Gathering cards. Drew a dragon in profile.
Phil Foglio - Artist and cartoonist, the co-creator (with his wife Kaja) of What's New with Phil and Dixie and Girl Genius. Drew a girl saying, "Cheezy!"
Owen Seyler - Designer for the Dune RPG for Last Unicorn Games, which is why he signed it, "The cheese must flow!" He is now one of the managers of GenCon.
ON THE LEFT SIDE
Aaron Williams - Cartoonist, creator of Nodwick, who he also drew on it.
Kate Novak - Writer. Co-creator of the Finder’s Stone Trilogy.
Christian Moore - Line designer for the Star Trek RPG, and one of the founders of Last Unicorn Games.
K.W. Jeter - Science Fiction and Horror writer.
Todd Lockwood - Artist for Wizards of the Coast. Drew a dragon's head.
ON THE RIGHT SIDE
Toivo Rovainen - Artist and game designer. At the time he was working for Cheapass Games, so he drew a zombie from the game Give Me the Brain wearing a cheesehead.
Kaja Foglio - Wife of Phi Foglio and co-creator of What's New with Phil & Dixie and Girl Genius.
Michael A. Stackpole - Author of books from the Rogue Squadron and Crown Colonies series.
Jeff Grubb - Creator of Spelljammer, co-creator of the Finder's Stone Trilogy, and writer of novels in the Dragonlance, StarCraft and WarCraft universes.
Shane Hensley - Creator of the Deadlands RPG at Pinnacle Entertainment. Since Deadlands is a western-themed RPG he signed it, "Keep your powder dry."
James Ernest - Creator and lead designer of Cheapass Games. He signed it "US Gov't Property" in reference to the infamous Government Cheese.
J. Michael Strazinsky - The creator of Babylon 5, and writer for the Marvel comic book The Amazing Spider-Man.
As you can tell, this is an amazing piece. Circumstances are forcing me to part with it.
