This is an early-90s strat-style guitar with Dan Armstrong Alumitone pickups, toggle switches instead of the standard switching configuration, and a Charvel neck. Some of the parts are Fender hardware.. It plays great though! The pickup wiring is a bit of a mystery to me, in terms of what toggle switch positions are exactly which pickups, but the Alumitones sound and look really cool. At some point the tuners were replaced, and small screw holes in the headstock back from the originals are visible next to the new tuners. The neck is a thin C sort of shape, like a D shape but not quite the flatness on the back.
It's a fun guitar, if a bit of a Frankenstein. The paisley-on-black finish is quite lovely. There is the normal wear on a 20 year old guitar, pick wear on the pickguard, etc., though the frets are in really good shape. There is some corrosion on the bridge, but nothing that affects function or aesthetics.
I've had set up done by a great luthier, and the playability is really nice.
I'm including the strap with strap locks, and a Fender hard case. The stand in the photos is NOT included.
