this camera is small and fairly easy to get used to. Had some problems at first but I took a little while and played around with some options and now am pleased. It is not bulky so it is perfect for being a purse camera. I now get to take shots of my boys while in town because of how compact this camera is. The camera, case and both of my memory cards come with me everywhere. It does have problems capturing the small background things(such as my boy's messy room), but sometimes that is not such a bad thing ;P It is not a Canon Rebel by any means but it is cheaper and much easier to carry around. If you want all the background stuff and every little detail, this may not be the camera for you, but for everyday things like the memories of your children, I would go for it! :)
I broke a friends 7.1 Megapixel Casio EXILIM while on vacation and purchased this as an immediate replacement. It takes excellent pics of people and landscapes. The lens and zoom is quite adequate for most uses. What impressed me most was how long the battery lasted. Good for a full day of shooting, 200+ pics and reviewing them. The battery charger charged the battery quickly.
I gave a gift to a friend, she loved the color pink. a very nice machine. beautiful and clean image resolution. perfect! Thank you!
I purchased this as a starter camera for my neice. It is extremely easy to use. It was the perfect camera for one who is just starting out. Great value too.
Did not come with a battery so waiting for battery and SD card to try it out
