      This round silver compact has unique design. It made in Russia ca. 1940's . The top lid is handcrafted beautiful two colors cameo which is light purple/ pinkish hard stone rare material background with raised white rose and foliage motif which is in mint condition. The border measures 5mm width is finished with swirled foliage design. The base chased fishing net motif , on it's center two small Russian hallmarks.- Date : ca. 1940's. 875 silver St. Petersburg. The compact interior has a framed mirror and gilder powder. No damages or dints on exterior. Measures the compact 2- 7/10 inches in diameter by 1/3 inch in high. Weights 2.45 oz. This compact is in excellent condition.
