WOW - what a great book! I've recently been diagnosed as Diabetic and this book is WONDERFUL - it contains EVERYTHING! Even "Fast Food Restaurants" and this is extremely helpful as I travel often and not always eating from home. I recommend this book for anyone watching Calories, Fat and/or Carbohydrates - It's the Best book and easy to carry in a coat pocket or purse (small enough to take everywhere) Don't hesitate, it can help you, too!
The book is a great guide for me. I am trying to lose 68 pounds and when I'm out it helps me make low calorie choices. Not only is every food under the sun in this book but there are so many restaurants in the book! I even found out how many calories are in chocolate covered ants in this book. Yuck!! Restaurants I've never heard of or seen. There are also helpful hints thoughout the book. Definitely a great book no matter what state you are living in.
Like so many others, calorie count is per ounce on one thing and per cup on another....what the hell is a cup??? loosely packed or firmly packed? and some chicken with bones have a widely different edible wt. after deboning than others....for instance free range chicken versus cage raised on fattening diet. JUST GIVE CALORIES PER FRIGGIN' OUNCE FOR GOD'S SAKE!!

This book is a great source of information about what is allowed on my diet. It will help me make smarter choices when eating out & help me better organize my meals. I bought this book because my doctor put me on an 1800 calorie diet & I wanted to be able to still eat out occasionally. This book tells me the calorie count for most of my favorite restruant foods so I know what I should avoid. This will be a big help to me to stay on track with this diet. I would highly recommend it.
