I am a 5'8" female & cannot use ladies clubs. I use men's clubs with a senior flex shaft & really didn't know if regular flex would work for my swing, thought they may be hard to hit.. .I like them better & hit them better than the Cobras I just bought. Always straight & increased my distance by 20 yards. Love these clubs!!!!

These clubs feel like you are hitting the ball with a sledge hammer. Very harsh but they do go long. You will hit more shots left than right. Not very easy to fade the ball. To pitch and chip well you will be practicing a long long time to get any kind of idea how far the ball will go. It seems like Callaway used a very hard metal for the face of these clubs. Not for a golfer that has any type of hand problem.

I am new to golf, but decided to upgrade from a Tommy Armour brand I bought last year. I noticed a difference right away. The RazrX clubs added somewhere between 10 and 15 yards to my swing, without even trying. (Because I don't have to swing as hard with these clubs, and still get the extra 10 yards, I would like to credit the clubs with improving my accuracy, but it is possible I am just getting better.) I know these particular clubs are a year or two behind in the technology evolution, (that fact is reflected in the price), but at my skill level, I won't notice it. (but my wallet will). If there is one drawback, it is that the black finish does mar quickly, but this is purely cosmetic. (And you should have seen the finish of my old stainless steel set after a few rounds. Talk about quick to mar!) Overall, Great clubs, even better price.Read full review
Love these clubs. I have a bad back and can't do the complete full back swing: the senior flex allows me to take about a 3/4 swing and still drive my irons 120 plus yards. the biggest challenge is learning how to literally slow down my swing and get longer shots than using my previous Calloway steel irons. I love these clubs: My only fear is that my wife is going to want them and then I will be forced to by more. Great clubs....
I am more than happy with the new feel and striking ability of this iron set. The description of how well they hit is more intangible than I first thought. But, what I mean is they just hit darn well, it did not take long to gain confidence in the clubs (3 rounds), they feel good in my hands, easy to square up to the target, look great, and I just plain love them. I am a huge fan of the Callaway Razr X Black iron set.
