About the Manufacturer
The story of Callaway Golf begins with the company’s founder and namesake Ely Callaway, a passionate businessman and well known figure in the game of Golf. The company got its start when Mr. Callaway bought a small wedge and putter company called “Hickory Stick USA”, which later became “Callaway Hickory Stick USA” and eventually “Callaway Golf”. This auction is for a brand-new-in-the-shrinkwrap CALLAWAY DIABLO"EDGE TOUR"  (9.5*)-loft driver, which is built-out at standard 45.25" length on a HOUSE OF FORGED / LONG DRIVE TEAM "JAMIE SADLOWSKI" signature series standard driver shaft, which honors Jamie's victories at the 2008 & 2009 Re/MAX World Long-Drive Championships, and this is the same standard driver shaft, which Jamie uses (in XX-flex) in his stock "gamer" driver = the same stock driver he used to crush the PGA pros in a long-drive contest in Hawaii early this year..  This (R) REGULAR-flex shaft has a MSRP price of $149.00/each, so this is a monster deal.  This shaft is the newest version with the awesome translucent pearl white paint.  This shaft weighed 66-grams, has a high bend-point and a firm tip with 3.1 torque.  It will produce a higher ball-speed for more distance, while lowering the ball-spin-rate for a boring ball-flight with less side-to-side movement.  We will include a nice new CALLAWAY headcover.
