I've always been a fan of Cobra irons. My wife has 2 sets of S-9's and I have a set of Amps. I play great with the Amps with a nice little draw (7 hc). I can still hit a 4-iron at age 69. I liked the looks and feel of the new Amp Cell irons at Dicks Sporting Goods. My buddy and I would go there frequently and waggle the new irons. I decided to get a set on Ebay and brought them to Florida with me. They have more off-set than the Amps. The Amps to me look more like a blade as do the Cells. The cells have a little thicker top line. My 6 iron distance is 150 to 160 yards. I've adjusted to the extra off set; the Amp Cells look good and play well. They look good and play well.
Couple of months ago I bought these with regular flex graphite shafts. I hit some a friend of mine had on the driving range and immediately liked the feel and got more distance with them. They are easy to hit and very forgiving. I know it is 2015, but he told ne another friend of ours bought some 2015 Amp Cell Irons and they weren't like the 2013. I looked around and could not find them new until I looked on EBay.

I have played golf with numerous iron sets and I have to say the Cobra Amp Cell irons are the best. Even though they are not a forged iron, I can work the golf ball with either a fade or with a draw. The day I received my irons I went to a par 3 nine hole golf course which had some fairly long holes. I shot a 26, one under par. Prior to these Cobra Amp Cells irons, all irons sets that I had played with had stiff shafts. However, I decided to go with a regular steel shaft with these irons. I have the same swing speed, but my distance with the Cobra Amp Cells has increased at least 5 to 10 yards longer. Unbelievable power and torque that I crunch out of these irons. Example: I am sixty years young, Currently hit my PW 138 yards, 8 iron 160, 5 iron 180, etc. These clubs are fantastic and are fun to hit!!!!Read full review
I have been playing golf for 51 years and I have played colons Titliest, Callaway, Ping, Scottery Cameron, Oddessey, Cobra, Nike, Taylor Made, etc but the oddessey v- line is the best putter the minuzo irons when I get my strength back but now the senior flex and AMP cell graphite is real good to me and I order a blue driver with senior flex to match so thanks so much in helping me out the shaft to any golf game is key. About 80% of all people hit to stiff a shaft and the next thing is the ball I like the callaway chromone soft, and bridgetone 330 RX when I am back to normal it going to take 6 months golf is a on going experience so thanks again to help me out now it is up to me and prayer
Still getting used to them, but I went months without playing golf and have been playing with $150 walmart set. I instantly noticed a difference in consistency and distance. They feel great. Highly recommended. I tried out many different clubs** at Edwin Watts prior to purchasing these. The only clubs that came close were the TaylorMade RoccketBladez. They were no where near as consistent though. If you like these I recommend the Cobra Amp Cell Driver. The best club out of the bunch in my opinion. Pros: Consistent (even for high handicappers) Feel great Aesthetically pleasing May increase distance, depending on your level of play Cons: Expensive **If you are curious I also tried, Callaway RAZR X Blacks, TaylorMade Burner 2.0s (and the Rocketbladez), Wilson Staff Ci11s, Ping G20s and finally the Mizuno JPX 800s. This was over the course of about a month to get back into the swing of things and to see how I played on different days.Read full review
