THESE GRIPS WILL NOT FIT A TAURUS PT 1911 THERE IS AN INTERFERENCE ISSUE WITH THE AMBIDEXTROUS SAFETY TANG IN THE SAFE POSITION.
THESE GRIPS WILL FIT MOST FULL SIZE FRAME 1911 STYLE PISTOLS WITH A GRIP MOUNTING HOLE SPACING OF 3 1/16" CENTER TO CENTER. HERE IS A LIST OF PISTOLS I HAVE TEST FIT THEM ON OR KNOW THEY FIT. COLT 1911 (WITHOUT A EXTENDED SLIDE RELEASE), KIMBER 1911, GSG & SIG SAUER 1911/22 (22 CALIBER), ROCK ISLAND ARMORY M1911-A1 .45acp, SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 1911, SCHUETZEN-SAFARI ARMS 1911. THESE GRIPS HAVE BEEN MACHINED TO FIT PISTOLS WITH AN AMBIDEXTROUS SAFETY. IN MOST CASES THESE ARE A DIRECT REPLACEMENT OF YOUR OLD GRIPS. BUT DUE TO VARIABLE TOLERANCE ISSUES THAT OCCUR DURING THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF THE GUN FRAMES AND DIFFERENCES IN THE SAFETY AND SLIDE RELEASE LEVERS (OF WHICH I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER) FITTING MAY BE REQUIRED. 
SORRY BUT I DON'T HAVE EVERY BRAND OF FULL SIZE 1911 PISTOLS THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO TEST FIT THESE ON. SO THE BEST WAY FOR YOU TO FIND OUT IF THEY WILL FIT YOUR GUN, IS TO FIND OUT FROM YOUR LOCAL GUN SHOP IF A PAIR OF STANDARD FULL SIZE 1911 COLT GRIPS WILL FIT ON YOUR GUN, IF THEY FIT THEN THE GRIPS I MAKE WILL FIT. 
IF YOUR GUN HAS AN AMBIDEXTROUS SAFETY MAKE SURE TO TRY A PAIR THAT HAS THE RIGHT GRIP MACHINED OUT IN THE BACK FOR ONE. IF THEY FIT THEN MY GRIPS WILL ALSO.

THESE GRIPS ARE MADE AS THE SALES ORDER COMES IN. THE AMOUNT OF THESE I HAVE IN STOCK THAT IS STATED ON THE LISTING IS FOR THE AMOUNT OF MATERIAL OR RAW BLANKS I HAVE IN STOCK TO MAKE THEM. THEY STILL NEED TO BE MACHINED AND HAVE THE FINISH WORK DONE. SO PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN YOU BUY A PAIR. THE SHIPPING TIME STATED BELOW AND MULTIPLE TIMES ON THIS LISTING TRULY DOES APPLY TO ANYONE THAT BUYS A PAIR OF THESE.

THESE PISTOL GRIPS ARE CNC MACHINED OUT OF A SOLID PIECE OF 6061 BILLET ALUMINUM. ALL OF THE MILLED OUT AND RECESSED AREAS ARE PAINTED IN WITH BLACK PAINT. THE RIGHT GRIP IS MILLED OUT IN THE BACK FOR AN AMBIDEXTROUS SAFETY SEE PICTURE #7. ALL OF THE ALUMINUM SURFACES ARE SATIN FINISHED.
