FOR SALE CARVER C4000 PREAMPLIFIER.  FULLY TESTED ON GREAT SPEAKERS. SOUND GREAT. THIS IS CALLED AN HIGH FIDELITY AUDIO CONTROL CONSOLE because it has so many controls and adjustments, almost like a professional audio mixing console. Modern day preamps don't have all this.  For example, separate bass and treble controls for right and left channel. But, there's more. Switches effect where the tone control slope goes into effect.  There the famous Bob Carver SONIC HOLOGRAPHY AUTO CORRELATION which re-recreates the 3 dimensional sound space with lots of adjustments. There two phonograph inputs and 3 high level inputs.  There are two complete tape monitor loops with tape dubbing in either direction.  This unit works fine.  There is a complete 1/2 thick instruction manual.  The unit was complete gone through and checked out, but I do not know exactly when.  This unit is in good shape. It will be well packed to arrive safely.  There are many other features not listed here.
