CARVER C-5 STEREO PREAMP, FULL FUNCTION, PHONO, 2 ZONES,HOLOGRAM,, EX SOUND

 Very nice sounding quality Carver C-5 Stereo Full Function preamp with Phono. This preamp is very attractive, low profile only 1.75"s tall. It is loaded with nice features and has the quality design and sound that Carver is noted for. It features 2 tape loops with dubbing, inputs for Video 1, Video 2, Aux, Tuner, Phono, CD and Aux.  It has Bass/Treble/Balance, headphone jack, loudness contour, Holographic Generator, and 2 zones for individual rooms, etc. The remote has been lost and is not included. This preamp works well and sounds very nice. It is open, detailed, dynamic, transparent, involving, quiet, smooth and very musical.  The Holographic Generator is a Bob Carver proprietary circuit which improves and extends the soundstage and dimensionality-it works. It is nice cosmetically, a few small nicks and scuffs, nothing serious. It measures 19x13x1.75 and will weigh 16 lbs safely boxed. I usually ship within 24 hours and I will email a tracking number.  10-11-12.  An observant ebayer from Canada brought to my attention that there is one left input on the tuner and 1 left output on 1 of the 2 tape loops that is missing the ground cover. Hello and thank you for bringing this to my attention. I completely overlooked these issues when testing the preamp. The socket will not ground without the metal cover, so the left channel of the tuner input will not operate, nor will the left channel of one of the 2 tape outs will not operate. There are plenty of other inputs and there are actually 2 sets of tape outputs on the preamp. I will add this information to the listing. My apologies. SonnY :)
