So far I'm liking this red dot. It looks nice, the dot is clear no matter which color you use or brightness. This thing is so easy to use with both eyes open and the eye relief is amazing. It almost disappears when you're using it. Have not gotten a chance to zero it yet but so far I'm loving it. I noticed a couple of people mention that this sight has a blurry dot. I thought the same thing too when I first got it, but that was because I didn't have any experience with red dots. Don't look at the dot. Shoulder the rifle, look at the target and put the dot on it. The dot is crisp when you don't look directly at it and instead focus on the target as you would with the front sights on a pistol.

If you are looking for an AGOG this is not the ticket. if you are looking for a descent Dot Sight for a OK price ,,, great for that. This is actually the second one I have purchased. My first one was attached to a 12 gauge 870. It had two seasons of deer hunting and about 200rds of 2.75" 1 once slugs through it,, and it failed. Bushy was good about replacing it with a new one. I feel it was a fluke that it failed. All in all, it is pretty good. I like the red and green T-dot, uses a 2032CR battery,,, pretty easy to find. I leave it on all day while deer hunting and a battery will last for weeks. The over the top sights... never tried to use them... puts you about 3" off the bore. Thumper

well i was a little worried about what the quality would be on this sight.but it's 100% perfect and extremely high quality, especially for the money.they run $282 everywhere else, and i got mine for $149 plus free shipping, and you cant beat that enywhere.like most tactical m4/Ar platform owners,i wanted an trijicon ACOG for my S&W M&P15 M4 Carbine, but really who can afford a genuine trijicon sight in this economy. And i this is the closest in look to that.it has the white dot dove tail quick shot sight on top similar to Acog top peep sight as well. The sight does have some paralax but if you run a co-witnes rear sight with it,then that isnt an issue.i run a USGi Matech rear flip sight, and it's works great.the brightness levels are perfect,5 red and 5 green.the red is for bright sunlight, and green for low light.there's absolutely no fade in bright sunlight, and it's awesome in low light obviously.it also is listed as "matte black" but it is more of a melonite mid glos finish, and if you have a modern version of most AR rifles, there mostly black melonite in color, and it matches it perfectly as well.i gaurentee you wont be disapointed with this sight.it will look great, and function even better for the money.the sight adjustment knobs are very precise, and extremely high quality as well...So if you need a high quality, low cost sight then this is for you.i hope this helps you make a well thought out decison, and plz dont waste money and time on fake clones, that are foreign trash.do your homework, and buy this sight and you will be happy...and your rifle will thank you.thank you bushnellRead full review
Let me start by saying that I read many reviews before deciding to buy this sight. Most were all good except for a very small number of negative ones. After receiving the sight I powered it up and looked through it. Unfortunately the powered reticle appeared blurry. I switched through the different brightness settings as well as removed and reinserted the battery and flipped it back on to no avail. I read on the Bushnell website that there is no way to focus this reticle because it is a 1x magnification sight (most scopes can be focused to your eyes). Apparently it's up to your eyes whether you can see it clearly or not. I guess either it's a defect or my eyes just aren't capable of seeing the sight clearly. I have 20-20 vision so I am disappointed with the sight. I returned it and am waiting for my refund. For future buyers I would recommend handling the scope and seeing through it for yourself before you buy it.Read full review
I am truly impressed with every aspect of this scope. It is a perfect match for an AR15. It seems to be very easy to adjust and maintain zero once it is sighted in. It is water proof and shockproof. It has both a green and red mill dot post sight that automatically adjust to the light. It is a dang good scope for then money!!
