I purchased the combined 7 season but one disc in the 7th season had a problem. This fixed that.

Many people do not care much for the final episodes of Buffy. I think with all of the hype that there was no way it could have been as people expected. With that said, I personally enjoyed the last season! How could you not enjoy the end to a great series?!?! For the most part, almost all of the episodes in season 7 were telling one larger story (even more so than the rest of the series) and it was like watching one very long episode that was split up into pieces! If you have followed seasons 1-6 you really have no choice but to see how it all ends! :-) Like any good series finale, it leaves you wanting more, but for the most part you are satisfied with what is resolved with the characters and the storyline. I highly recommend watching the episodes of the last season without leaving too much time in between them. It will flow much easier and make more sense watching the episodes without much gap in between them!Read full review
I really liked season seven but it didn't feel like things were tied together at the end like I would have liked. Basically Sunny-dale was destroyed and they saved the world and now there are a ton of new slayers..... then what! Maybe it was just me wanting the series to continue but the whole 7th season seemed a bit repetitious. Seemed like it drug on and on until the big last scene which didn't last long. Over all though I still enjoyed it and would recommend the who series. It was a great story, Jos Wedon did a great job through out
Although not quite as satisfying as the excellent Season 6 (honestly, what could be?) Weden doesn't slack up just because the show's finally winding down. Unlike so many series whose last season is the one that shouldn't have been made, Buffy stays true to itself and its level of quality to the end, including the meaning-saturated, layered approach that requires the DVD medium (and ownership) to truly appreciate it. As Sarah Geller said once, "I think we're still turning out a good product." They were indeed.
It is as if the producer and director were afraid that "Buffy" was slipping in the ratings game. And in order to capture the audience's attention they had to rely heavily upon sexual content with special attention given to Willow and Tara's lesbian relationship. Since witches are into lesbian relationships I guess you could say it was a plausible situation. But overall I was disappointed that the cast of "Buffy" who display remarkable talent in many ways could not simply rely upon that talent for ratings. However Dawn is definitely one of the characters that adds to the season. Spike regaining his soul also adds something refreshing.
