Description

This listing features Brian Wilson Garden Gnome pictured above. It is approximately 7" tall and weighs 15 ounces out of the box. It is packaged in a printed clamshell box.

This gnome portrays Wilson in his classic pose with his arms crossed after saving a game. He is depicted wearing his controversial Nike orange baseball shoes. During the All Star game in 2010, Brian was supplied by MLB with orange cleats. He wore the same shoes to a game on July 28th and was fined $1,000 after Marlin's manager Edwin Rodriguez complained that the shoes "were too bright, too flashy". Wilson's clever reaction was to fill in half of the shoe with a black Sharpie for his next save opportunity.

Wilson's response when interviewed after saving the game was gnomical. "I'm surprised he hasn't asked for these to be drug-tested for performance-enhancing cleats, because apparently they throw 97 to 100 with cut if you put them on and the ball magically disappears". Wilson truly is the most interesting man in the world.

Historically gnomes originate in 19th century Germany, where they became known as Gartenzwerg (literally "garden dwarf"). They were placed in gardens to protect from evil sorcery. (Source - Wikipedia)

It is highly recommended that you locate your Wilson Gnome in your garden or yard to ward off evil LA Dodger sorcery (especially now since they are under new ownership). Maybe include some other Giants' bobbleheads in your collection to form a balanced defensive and offensive perimeter. Buy an extra gnome for inside your house or to place on your desk at the office. Maybe it will ward off evil boss sorcery. Don't forget one for your boat or car. They also make a great present for that special Giants fan in your life.

 

 


Payment

Shipping

In the United States the item will be shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Mail and will normally go in the mail within 8 hours but no later than 24 hours after payment is received. USPS advertises a 2-5 day delivery time within the United States which is based on business days. Mail is sorted and processed every day but not delivered on Sundays and government holidays.

Outside the USA the item will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail International. Rates and delivery times vary based on item weight and buyer location.
