Breedlove American mandolins combine the best traditional construction elements with Breedlove's cutting-edge aesthetics and attention to detail. With a distinctive asymmetrical "K "shape body, this Breedlove mandolin not only provides fantastic aesthetics, but it fulfills your most discerning tonal desires. With an open, full sound, the Breedlove American KO mandolin is perfect for styles ranging from Classical to Celtic Music. The Breedlove KO mandolin features a single oval sound hole, producing sound that is loud, and punchy. The solid Sitka spruce top and flamed maple back and sides complement these features, and add robust projection, so this K-style mandolin can be heard no matter what arrangement you find yourself in. The 13-15/16" scale, 1-3/16" nut width, and 16" radius provides comfort and accessibility when playing up and down the instrument's 20 frets. The maple neck along with the ebony bridge and fretboard provide amazing clarity and sustain, while also making the Breedlove mandolin incredibly sturdy. It is dressed in a smooth satin finish, with Gotoh M120-N tuners, chrome hardware, and Includes a Breedlove deluxe hardshell mandolin case.

Breedlove American Series mandolins feature a radiused fingerboard for ease of playability and comfort.
