The ATE-501 Electric Scooter is a street legal electric power assisted bicycle in most states. This model is considered a bicycle because you can install the pedals which makes this a street legal scooter. If you have concerns, please check with your local law enforcement agency before purchasing. The ATE-501 can be driven with 100% electric power or you may install the pedal kit which allows you to pedal the scooter.

Shipping is $199 for most areas. Freight includes delivery to your residence with a liftgate. Lower shipping rates may apply if sent to a business address or without liftgate, please call or email for more details.

We allow our customers a maximum of 3 days from the arrival date to notify us should the item arrive defective or damaged. (DURING THE HOLIDAYS WE EXTEND THE WARRANTY ARRIVAL DATE TO 7 DAYS AFTER THE HOLIDAY ENDS). In this case the seller reserves the option to exchange, repair the malfunctioning part or send replacement part free of shipping charges for the first incident within the first 30 days only. Return shipping if necessary is to be paid by customer. Shipping is not refundable for any reason.
30 DAY WARRANTY PERIOD
In the event a part malfunctions within the warranty period. Our warranty covers free parts for the first 30 days only. We ship parts for free once. In this case the seller reserves the option to exchange, repair the malfunctioning part or send replacement part. The shipping is paid by customer both ways if necessary. Shipping is not refundable for any reason. We may also have you take the scooter to a local repair shop, you will be responsible for all repair fees. We also have a mechanic on staff who can help and answer all questions pertaining to the repair of or troubleshooting the scooter. You will also be responsible for properly packaging the scooter/parts and return shipping insurance; we are not responsible if the scooter gets damaged during return shipping. Loose parts that fall off are not covered under warranty. Please insure that all the nuts and bolts, locks, fuse covers and other parts are properly fastened prior to usage. The following wear and tear parts are not covered: Tires, flats, bulbs, brakes, chain and seat. Damage due to mishandling, misassembly, misuse, accident, collision or any other cause with the exception of manufacturer defect is not covered by the warranty. Do not attempt to fix, modify or disassemble any part on your own as this will void your warranty.

After warranty, Seller will service and continue to support the buyer with replacement parts and maintenance of his purchase at the buyer expanse.

Purchaser is responsible for registering and operating the SCOOTER in accordance with local and state laws and ordinances. Seller makes no representations that the SCOOTER is legal for operation in your particular City and State. You must be sure you can ride this and register this legally in your state, there are absolutely NO RETURNS.
The vehicles we sell are partially unassembled and crated at the manufacturer's factory. They are intended to be in fully operational, defect-free condition when they arrive at our warehouse and are shipped to you, but occasionally there are minor problems that must be resolved during setup and vehicle prep. Normally, these issues are handled by a local powersports dealer who will then charge you $100-$300 as a "prep" fee. One of the big savings you enjoy by purchasing an unassembled vehicle from us is avoiding this fee and performing the prep yourself. However, this also requires that you have the tools and knowledge to deal with these issues. If, for example, your vehicle has a defective part that needs replacement under the warranty program, we'll gladly send you the replacement part, but you'll be responsible for removing the defective part, installing the new part, and making the proper adjustments so that it will operate correctly. If you're not up to the job, you'll be responsible for bringing the vehicle to a mechanic and paying for the cost of the repair.
There are inherent risks involved in using any motorized vehicle, including but not limited to: serious physical injury, and possibly death. This product is not a toy. This product is intended for experienced adult riders on a closed track. The seller strongly recommends the use of safety equipment while using this scooter. Appropriate safety equipment would include, but is not limited to D.O.T. approved helmet, riding leathers, leather gloves, knee pads, and riding boots. Purchaser shall use product at their own risk. The Seller will not be held liable under any circumstance for incidental or consequential loss or damage or injury, due directly or indirectly to the use of this product, including any malfunction from negligence or defect.
The seller makes no claims as to the suitability of this scooter or any specific purpose or user. The products on this site are designed for recreational use for a single rider with proper safety equipment. It is not suitable for handicapped persons or persons with limited mental or physical capacities. The product is to be used only on safe, dry, smoothly paved or hard packed surfaces during daylight hours.
Although there are no uniform legal age restrictions, the Seller recommends that only individuals of legal age use any of the motorized vehicles sold by us. The Seller also recommends that any minors only use motorized vehicles under adult supervision and under the guardian's own discretion. Purchasers should check with their local authorities for area specific rules and regulations. Adult guardian assumes all responsibilities associated with the use of these products by minors. Customers understand that the use of these products can cause injury or death to themselves or others. To reduce the risks of any such injuries the Seller strongly recommends the use of the safety equipment such as an ANSI or Snell approved helmet and knee pads.
