The book lists all of the ingredients in each food item including all minerals. It is very helpful for calculating all the ingredients of a recipe for a person on a low sodium, low potassium, low phosphorous, etc. diet. It highlights the food items high in a particular mineral. I found it more helpful than any diet books for specific concerns. I am pleased to have found it.

This book was required for a Nutritional Assessment undergraduate course. I like that it is very thorough in description of nutrient content of specific foods. I can't say there is anything I dislike; it is a good resource to have in the world of Dietetics. I bought this book after I had realized the previous edition was no longer adequate.
This book was needed for my Dietetics program. It is a great reference for finding the amount of nutrients in all kinds of food. It includes fast food chains like Wendy's and Mcdonalds to retail products like Velveeta to fruits and vegetables.
