~Factory Finish - Barrel Only~

 

Please Note: Pictures shown may not necessary be representative of the specific finish in this listing.


Offered is a standard factory finish for your single barrel rifle or shotgun - barrel only.  It includes stripping the barrel of any old bluing and rust.  We then thoroughly polish with the appropriate levels of grit.  Extensive care is taken around any engravings.  


Deep pitting, especially around engravings, may not be able to be removed.  They can be minimized but not removed without damaging engraving.  Bead blasting creates a more uniform look and removes any rust residing in the base of any pitting.   An additional fee of not more than $40.00 may be charged for barrels with excessive or heavy rusting (and it needs to be very excessive for this to be done).

There is an order form on the Precision Bluing site that you can fill out so that we will have all the information necessary for your project to be completed correctly.    

Precision Bluing does hold an FFL,so you can ship to us directly, but if you'd feel more comfortable shipping via your gun via a gunsmith, please have a copy of their FFL sent as well for logging purposes.  We will send a copy of ours upon return of the gun for your gunsmith's logging purposes.


The shipping fee is to cover the return cost so that we can get it back to you.
