If you enjoy WWII tactics/strategy and don't require cutting edge 3D graphics, you will appreciate what Blitzkrieg has to offer. While the Sudden Strike series is my all-time favorite, Blitzkrieg offers some features that Sudden Strike lacks, such as: Balanced squad-based infantry units (groups of 10) by default, trenches & trench-building, vehicle & AT/Artillery able to dig in/build defensive berms, sneakier snipers, unit formations (march, combat, etc.), more detailed units (than Sudden Strike), and mild 3D graphics (rolling hills). Where the game falls a bit short: Enemy artillery too accurate (total Bee-Ess), Infantry combat is a bit vague (hard to tell who is being hit & unable to suppress infantry fire, very frustrating when trying to sneak into town or post forward observers), cruddy binoculars, & immovable supply dump feature limits mobility. All in all, a most excellent game that will give back every bit as much as you put into it. Some notable features: Huge variety of units both Axis and Allied (sorry, no Japanese units), including rare Polish 7TP tanks...awesome!, nice explosions, almost all terrain features are destructable (trees, buildings, fences, poof!), good sound effects, and sometimes amusing voice-overs. Has single player campains and missions but I recommend multiplayer. Los, los, los!Read full review
I like how it runs, but I can't seem to control game speed. I get lucky sometimes or it takes a long time to get it to run. I have a laptop that has a strange keypad, less keys, it's a new Toshiba. Otherwise the game runs like I thought it would.
un buen producto por el precio y queria tener toda la collecion de este juego y vi la oportunidad,y ademas era una magnifica oportunidad por el precio.
