Presenting an Elegant Antique Cup and Saucer by John Rose at Coalport from the Late Georgian Period
Circa 1825+
It has a Peach Hand Painted Border which has been Adorned with Lavishly Gilded Foliate Swags and Cartouches with Exquisitely Hand Painted Flowers Within
There is a Delicate Sprig of Flowers at the Bottom of the Cup
The Outside of the Cup has been Decorated with Hand Painted Foliage and it is Opulently Gilt Trimmed
The Handle is Looped with a Gilt Leaf Design
The Saucer is Decorated in the Same Style except it has not been decorated on the outside but has an Extra Cartouche
I am afraid that the saucer has lost some of its gilt but it is otherwise in Excellent Condition
