Beautiful Antique Vintage 19th century Youghal Lace Full Collar

Description

We recently purchased a huge collection of rare antique and lace collars. We'll be listing them over the coming weeks.

Up for sale today is a simply georgous collar, from the early 19th century (I believe). I'm not sure if it is discolored from age or is the original ecru color, but thelace is evenly colored in a medium ecru color. Inner neck measures 23" round, and the length of the lace in front (and back) is 9.5".

Payment

Payment is expected within 10 days of the auction close. PAYPAL is the method of payment and you do not need to open an account. You can pay by any major credit card or through your bank with an e-check. It is fast and easy! We do normally hold shipping until e-checks clear. If you have any problems with holds or payment method, contact us and we will try to work it out.

Shipping

At our auctions you only pay actual shipping costs. We use the shipping calculator for the what we believe are the best options based on estimates of package weight and size. Our estimates are normally close and we do refund if there is a significant shipping overcharge. We add Auctiva shipping insurance on expensive items - it may show as a handling fee - it is the only "handling fee" we charge.

Purchasers buying multiple items and/or shipping outside the US may contact us before paying; we will box and send exact shipping quotes. Shipping costs can vary drastically depending how far you are from the Pacific Northwest - we have chosen what we thought was the best, but if you want a different option just ask.

Please keep in mind we are from the back woods of the Pacific Northwest. Although we normally ship within 1 business days of confirmed payment - USPS/UPS determines the real transit time - count on the longer time displayed in the shipping calculator. Please if you like the cheaper, but takes longer shipping options - do not ding our shipping time star because it indeed took longer or we may have to be like other dealers that offer only the faster more expensive shipping.

Terms of Sale

If you are unhappy with a purchase from us, please let us know immediately. We accept returns within a reasonable amount of time ... like 2 weeks. Items must be returned in the same condition as received. We reserve the right to charge upto a 10% handling fee to cover our shipping, packing, and eBay expenses. We only refund shipping fees if we've made a gross error in our description.

International Buyers are welcome and appreciated, although there are a few additional disclosures needed:

· Use the shipping calculator below to calculate shipping - before you bid! We are willing to ship anything we sell internationally, but the international shipping cost can sometimes be very high.

· Customs procedures may slow your shipment.

· If there are additional customs fees, taxes, or brokerage fees they are the sole responsibility of the buyer as set by the buyer's specific country.

· We can not declare these products as a gift to avoid customs.

· Final auction values and title names are used on the customs form. We have no problem using the terms old or used on the customs forms as most of the items we sell are indeed old and/or used.

· We reserve the right to require a confirmed delivery method of shipping (UPS or priority mail) on shipments totaling over $100 in final auction values.

My sister and I love the thrill of the hunt. You know, looking for a great Deal - being just a bit faster or luckier than the next person. We've been collecting for years, and now need a reasonable downsize process. We are ready to sell and hope you find a few treasures for your own collections.

We tend towards the odd and unusual, the "abby-normal", so check it out, cuz you never know what we may have. We do seem to pick up a lot of vintage fashions and accessories. We tend towards an eclectic taste. We both collect Costume Jewelry - the big rhinestonie stuff (so does Mom). We do our best to ship within one day of verified payment, charge only actual shipping, allow the buyer to choose both method of shipping and whether to insure, pass on shipping discounts to buyers, combine shipments, work with buyers with special needs, and have lots of pictures - we strive for a great buyer experience and like ratings of 5.
