Nothing more perfect for Valentine's Day than this gorgeous spit curl blonde, wearing a very rare dress from 1957! This dress was sold as an extra outfit, and is very difficult to find, let alone in near mint condition. Made of sheer & very fragile white voile with cerise & pink blossoms, the dress is decorated with five rhinestones on the right front of the fitted bodice, and one rhinestone on the right sleeve. A matching velvet ribbon wraps the waist & ties in a bow. The puffed sleeves are trimmed with lace, and closure is at the back with three square snaps. There was one small professional repair made, right next & parallel to the center back seam near the bottom of the dress, which I had never even noticed before because of the fabric pattern. It's literally nearly invisible! This crisply tagged dress is in exceptional condition, with no holes rips or tears. Underneath, Cissy wears vintage hosiery & a beautiful white taffeta, tulle & vintage lace slip, with matching panties. Her coordinated & purposely understated shoes are lovely; vintage with replaced elastic, providing the perfect fit for our girl on-the-go! Cissy is wearing a gorgeous set of white faux pearls...earrings, necklace & bracelet, and on her finger one heck of a diamond cut rhinestone matching the velvet belt on her dress. And PLEASE take a look at these gloves! Different than those she usually wears, these adorable white gloves are longer at the wrist, and beautifully scalloped for just the right touch! Last but certainly not least...that hat, that hat, THAT HAT! Looking as if it had been made as the mate to her dress, Cissy's white straw hat is decorated with pink tulle & a corsage of vintage florals which compliment her dress in every way. Her cute bag completes her!
Cissy is really a knockout, having beautiful features & coloring with lightly refreshed blush. Her stunningly clear blue eyes are gorgeous, with full lush lashes. Her thick blonde hair has curls at the crown as well as the nape of her neck, and there is a spit curl in front of each ear. She has no splits, cracks or odors.
