Big lot of about 500 cards for the Battletech collectable card game. Not sure exactly how many or what the mix is like, haven't played it in years and they've been sitting in storage all this time. A quick scan shows cards from the original core set, the unlimited core set, and Counterstrike, may be others as well. Collection is the result of buying lots and lots and lots of boosters, so you're looking at the expected mix of rares, uncommons and commons - I never traded, preferred to play the pack lottery. None of the cards were played without sleeves on them so wear should be minimal. Cards will be wrapped and packed in a medium flat rate priority mail box, which is by far the cheapest shipping option - they weigh a lot cumulatively. Bit of a pig in a poke, I know, but it's not worth my while to dig through everything and do a rare list - hardly remember what's what after all this time, and the game's been OOP long enough that finding any largish lot on the cheap has got to be nice for fans. One of Garfield's best designs - a shame it hasn't returned as a living card game ala Cthulhu/Mythos rather than languishing in CCG limbo. See our other auctions for more gaming stuff. We do combined shipping wherever possible to keep postage costs down. Any questions, please contact us and we'll try to help. Buyers outside of the USA please contact us for shipping quote before bidding - the automatic shipping calculator is not very accurate. On Sep-30-12 at 06:59:17 PDT, seller added the following information:EDIT: A potential bidder has asked if the cards are musty due to long storage, which is an issue I hadn't considered. My own sense of smell has been ruined by working with the wrong chemicals for too many years, but I know a friend of my commented on the rental storage bin place smelling of must and mothballs when we moved everything out. Whether that's transferred to the cards on not I can't really tell, but if you have allergy problems it would probably be safer not to bid. I assume if you sleeved them it wouldn't be a problem regardless, but most odors are something of a mystery to me at this point in my life. |
