I feel the Quad Edge S is a great value for the bow. I haven't hunted with it yet, I've only fired 30 bolts during sighting in and practice. I feel the Quad Edge S is quieter than my friends Quad 400 and Wild Cat. After the sight in period. I don't shoot at the same dot on the target to save my $10.00 bolts. I paired the Quad Edge S with a Hawke 1.5 X 5 X 32mm XB1 scope. And 22" Barnett Head Hunter Bolts. As a side note. The Plano Spire hard case fits My set up perfect for me. Just make sure the pistol grip on the stock is behind the structural strength rib when you close the cover. I hopes this helps you in your decision.

This crossbow Barnett Quad edge S is awesome. the draw weight is 135 lbs ,and has 109 ft pounds of punch. Weighs 8 pounds, and a 14.625 inch power stroke. Shoots 350 ft per second. The scope is good quality and looks like a bdc retical That is marked out to 54 yards. On top of the stock there is a storage compartment with a flip up door. There is a places on the side of the stock where you can mount the optional crank. The quiver is tight and the base of the quiver screws onto a pictiny rail on the bottom of the bow. This bow is awesome.! If you want a good quality crossbow that is also quiet this is it Well worth more than the 382.00 that I paid to POOR FISH on ebay

I purchased this to replace my former Horton Yukon SL compound crossbow that was in need of some refurbishment. Opted for this serious update. I am not disappointed. This is the fastest crossbow I've ever seen, and puts bolts with field tips nearly completely through a new high-quality target at 40 yards. Possibly the most amazing bit of all - I mounted the scope and went out to shoot - and the arrows hit within 2 inches of the exact point of aim without even making an adjustment! With a couple of clicks on the scope, it was dead-on! I wish sighting in rifles was as quick and easy!

Just switched from a Mathews Bow to this crossbow and I love it!!! Fast, accurate and consistent. Camo looks great. Easy enough to pull back too, I don't really even need the rope cocker. Best money I've spent in awhile. The ad said it was black but the photo shows camo...it came in camo which was great!!! Can't beat the price either on a refurb either, would never know it was.

This crowwbow definitely gives you the most bang for your buck. The Edge S is advertised at 360fps. I have a high quality archery target and at 50yds it buries the bolts leaving about 3inches before the fletching. I know at 50yds this thing will do a complete pass through on a deer. The accuracy is also unbelieveably good. At 50yds it will shoot the bolts into a 2 inch group all the time. The camo pattern is great and seems to be very quiet. Im looking forward to taking it hunting this year. The 135lb draw weight is very manageable and with a cocking rope all the shots are very consistent. I let my son shoot it and now he owns one. I would recommend this bow to anyone insterested in a new crossbow.
