This Gold Tone OB 175 is in excellent condition. I thought I would learn how to play the banjo, but it just hasn’t happened, so it’s time to sell. This is a professional 5-string banjo that I am selling at a bargain price. This banjo lists for about $1,400 and sells new for about $1,100. The case sells for $138. I am selling this Gold Tone OB-175 with HS case for $519 – less than ½ the internet-price of a new instrument. Other than a few scuffs on the case, I doubt you could distinguish it from a new instrument. There are no issues with this instrument. You will not be disappointed.
The full list of feature is available on line, but the most noteworthy are:
Maple neck with head-stock inlay
Neck and body binding;
One-piece cast flange;
Bronze (pre-war) GTR Tone Ring;
Three-ply maple rim
Rosewood Fingerboard with diamond inlay;
The banjo plays perfectly and is currently strung with Elixer light gage strings. The neck is perfect, and the action is 1/8 inch at the 12th fret. A new set of GHS Medium-Light gage strings (PF145) and strap are also included.
Check out my 100% positive feedback. I buy quality music equipment, I take good care of it, and I play only in my home – no gigs. Buy with confidence and enjoy.
