Up for bids is a classic pinball machine - Bally's FIREBALL. Manufactured in 1972, FIREBALL is considered one of the most collectible pinball machines ever made. FIREBALL is a four-player electromechanical game with lots of great features including two- or three-ball multiball, zipper flippers that close up to prevent the ball from leaving the playfield, a captive ball, a ball kickback lane, and a raised ball entry. But the feature that most people remember this game for is the rotating spinner in the center of the playfield which can fling the ball unpredictably around the playfield. Here's a great example of this classic machine. Everything on this game works perfectly -- the game plays 100%. The flippers are strong, and everything scores and operates exactly as it should. The backglass is in near mint/mint condition with no scratches, flaking, or peeling -- just look at the photos. The playfield is in very good condition, with some minor separations in the wood near the center of the playfield, typical of a 40-year-old pinball machine. There's some wear at the edges of the wood around the circular spinner in the center, and a small wear spot just to the right of the top right thumper bumper which could probably be touched up. There's also a small bit of wear just above the left flipper. All of the rubber playfield rings were replaced a few months ago, and all of the playfield plastics are in excellent condition with no chipped, cracked, or broken plastics. The cabinet is in good condition. There are some minor dings and scratches on the sides of the cabinet. There's more significant wear on the front of the cabinet. There's some tarnish on the coin door hinge, the coin return bar, and the start button, but all of these parts work just fine. This game comes with all of the original paperwork, including the schematic, instruction/score cards, and instruction sheets. The game comes with locks and keys for the coin door and the rear backbox door. Definitely an above average example of this classic game. This machine is available FOR PICKUP ONLY in the Cleveland, Ohio, area -- shipping is not an option, so please don't ask me to make an exception for you. Payment must be in cash on pickup only. The game is located in the basement, so please be prepared to move the machine up a flight of stairs if you are the winning bidder. The game must be paid for and removed within two weeks of the close of the listing. Although the game is working perfectly now, there is no warranty either expressed or implied. Thanks for reading, and good luck!
