List of fuels that can be burned in this stove:

Methyl Alcohol, Ethyl alcohol, Denatured alcohol, Gas-line antifreeze (methyl Alcohol) "HEET"  in a yellow bottle, Dry Gas (methyl alcohol), Rubbing alcohol 70% & 90%(isopropyl alcohol). 90% is better, Grain alcohol, and Drinking alcohol above 140 proof ! But don't waste it for burning :)

This stove when turned over will even burn esbit style solid fuel tablets.

FULLY TESTED!

I used this style Alcohol burner along with the windscreen I also offer everyday for 6 months (I thru-hiked every foot of the 2,175 Appalachian Trail) in the wilderness from conditions ranging from below freezing temps to above tree line altitudes and never had a problem with it, NEVER! It has been taken to the top of Pikes Peak (14,410ft.) in Colorado and worked flawlessly.

HANDMADE ONE AT A TIME 

Each stove is handmade by me, an experienced Appalachian Trail thru-hiker.  Aluminum soda and beer cans are used. Saving them from going to a landfill. Each can is washed thoroughly and cut to exact sizes by special jigs. Stove bottoms are then specially sized by my special process to fit stove tops perfectly.  A fit so tight that   Sealant, Tape , and  Crimping aren't needed. Jet holes are drilled with a  drill bit, not poked with a pin. Since the coloring on the cans is not heat resistant I do not paint over them with paint that will simply come off. Outsides of stoves have a polished shiny aluminum finish for a quality feel and appearance. No toxic colors or paint to burn or come off.  Alcohol burns at temperatures above 750 degrees F and neither tape nor epoxy (JB Weld) can withstand temperatures above 500 degrees,So I don't use them. This also keeps the stove totally recyclable. Only aluminum is used to construct these Well Built Recyclable Environmentally Sound Stoves.You will simply be amazed at how this super efficient and ultra lightweight stove is made from simple aluminum cans.

Stove comes with a Manual/Instructions that includes More information on alcohol stoves, a List of fuels you can use, and Instructions. And in keeping with the recycling ethic, they are printed on biodegradable and recyclable paper!

  This stove works best with a 1 liter pot, but anything up to a 2 liter+ pot will work with it.

The pepsi can stove burner is small enough to fit inside your drinking cup for safe keeping.  So light weight that even by backpacking standards the weight is negligible. 

People in Florida even used these as emergency stoves when they had no power for weeks after being hit by the hurricanes this year! Keep a couple on hand for Emergencies!
