You are bidding on a gorgeous feeding and play table made my the Babee Tenda company, circa 1940s-50s. I purchased this from its original owner, who apparently had a mom who didn't use it much.
The table has a number of great features that allow it to adapt as children age:
Built in adjustable seat with adjustable back and leg rests - seat glides
Can be used as a feeding station/play area for a baby
With the seat collapsed, can be used as a regular table that chairs can be pulled up to
Opening cover doubles as the baby's back rest
On casters for easy movement
Adjustable leg height - legs easily fold in for storage
Removable chalkboard top that reverses to a sort of wood grain
This table is in great condition and very clean. It appears complete, down to the removable adjustable seat belt (not shown in pics). The wood is in wonderful condition. There may have been a padded seat cover, which is absent. This is a very useable item and a great looking vintage item - quite charming, actually. I don’t think I would use it as a feeding chair (although the design is pretty much the same on the new tables), but it makes a great sturdy play table. The piece measures 25” square on the top, 23 to 28" high, 11" square at the seat opening, and 3.5" thick when the legs are folded in.
Baby Tenda is still in business - a new table retails for $599!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would prefer local pick up. It is heavy, and I would have to take it to a mailing center and have them pack it. I will charge EXACT shipping, which could be very high. YOUR BID IS YOUR AGREEMENT TO THIS.

Shipping & Handling Fees |
All fees are for domestic shipping. I use the most cost-effective methods offered by the USPS for shipping with a small handling fee for my time, materials, and careful packaging. I use recycled materials and am happy to combine shipping. Insurance and delivery confirmation are included in the shipping and handling charges on most items over $25. I was recently overcharged $30 in shipping fees by an unscrupulous seller and then $13 by another. I try to be as fair as possible with my shipping policy. When I overcharge by more than a few dollars, I contact the buyer and issue a refund. And now when I am overcharged by sellers, I give negative feedback. I am tired of these thugs, and eBay allows them to get away with it. |

The liars and scammers were out in abundance over the past weeks on eBay. You know - the “unemployed” people who need a refund (while spending thousands of dollars on eBay on designer items), the people who visit hospitals and need cheap American Girl items (new!) for needy children (their own!), the creeps who get refunds from eBay because the items “never arrived” (even though delivery confirmation indicates delivery) and then are caught reselling the items on eBay, the shipping gougers, the people who steal photographs, etc. With this in mind, I thank and appreciate all the wonderful, honest people I have dealt with on eBay. There are always bad apples, but overwhelmingly, I meet good people who make transactions a pleasure. |
