|Seller Notes:||“Gently used, this machine shows very little wear.”|
Ser. # 25166336
|Country of Manufacture:||Switzerland|
Made in Switzerland, this machine is made of nearly all steel and is in excellent condition.
Gently used by my 80 year old sister, she no longer has the ability to operate this gem.
Having sewn most of her life, this was her favorite machine.
Purchased in 1998 the 930
has the reputation of being a real work horse. She said it was the best machine she ever owned.
The Serial number is: 25166336
Included in the storage/carrying case is a sewing table that goes over the free arm, to enlarge the working area. A knee operated presser foot lifter will keep both of your
hands free to guide your
work. And, the foot speed control unit is large and stable. Both electrical operating cables are enclosed.
An original Bobbin wing nut for the cabinet is included.
Four extra Schmetz, Universal 130-705H needles are in the plastic box that includes 20 bobbins.
The enclosed owner’s manual provides complete instructions on how to operate all the features on this sewing
machine. An additional
book, “Know Your Bernina”, 2nd Edition, will compliment the owner’s
manual with additional information.
The presser foot on this machine
is a 0 30, identified as an embroidery foot. I have not been able to locate the
accessory box which held additional presser feet and accessories.
Presser feet can be purchased for as little as $20.00 each.
There are 3 speeds at which you can sew and a 5 step buttonhole function.
Over 20 different
stitches can be chosen to add distinction to your projects.
machine has the "heel tap needle up/down" feature, so when you need
to turn a corner, for example, you just tap the back of the foot speed pedal with your
heel, and the needle goes down. Both hands are free to turn your project. Tap
it again, and the needle goes up!
Anyone who knows the Bernina Record 930 will verify its worth/value. Check out the forums to see what
