How to string the warp threads on your loom.
Start by sliding the warp bar (threaded rod) to the rear of the adjusting slot. Place the thread between the two flat washers and tighten either the right or left lower black knob. (THREAD LOCK) .
String the thread tight to opposite end of the loom, around a peg and back to front, around a peg and continue, making sure to keep all the threads snug, When you have the desired number of threads for your project. Finish by placing the thread between the opposite two flat washers and tighten the other bottom black knob.(THREAD LOCk) Best thread is Nymo size “D”
Place your hand flat with a little pressure on the top of all threads, this helps even out the tension. Next start tightening the warp bar by turning the two TOP black knobs. Keep tightening till the threads are taut. If you have them too tight, when you take your project off the loom, it may wrinkle or distort out of shape. As your are using the loom the threads may stretch a little. Adjust the knobs so the threads stay taut.

Our New 2011 models No. 8, 12, 16 & Belt looms are adjustable in the work area, saving the amount of thread used on smaller projects. Your new loom will need to have 2 end pieces attached with screws included.
