You are bidding on a VERY RARE hardcover Batman book. Here is a bit of information on this edition. Published in 1991 by Kitchen Sink Press this 208 page oversized and slipcased Deluxe Limited Edition collects the Batman Sunday newspaper strips in color from 43-46. Also includes an exhaustive illustrated introduction by Batman historian Joe Desris. This limited edition was limited to 500 copies and this is number 95. Five golden age artists signed the special color plate: Bob Kane, Dick Sprang, Jack Burnley, Charles Paris and Alvin Schwartz. A special bonus is bound into the final page of the limited edition-A sheet of nine Batman Trading Cards on card stock (see the picture of the front and reverse of the cards). The card images were custom created by Dick Sprang and Peter Poplaski. Legend had it that only 250 were made available for sale and the other 250 were given out as gifts to DC Comics/Warner Brothers employees. Now all of the creators have passed on, making this book extra collectable. Shipping to you is $4.00, mandatory delivery conformation is an additional $1.25.
