I take great care with my cars.
If there is damage worth mentioning I do.
There may be the usual minor things that can occur with the factory packing of course, of
which I can't mention every tiny thing. If absolutely mint (which are few and far between and
is subjective) is what you are after, ask about the item prior to bidding so I can describe how
close to mint the particular item is and anything else (like a minor dent in card from being in a
case with other cars, a factory packing thing(HW's)) that might be unacceptable to you.
A Pre Thank you For Good Communication.
I accept PayPal only and payment expected within 3 days of auctions end. At 4 days no pay and
no communication from buyer, a Non Paying Bidder case may open.
Packing & Shipping:
Within the USA will be FREE($8.50 value) (USPS Priority Mail w/delivery conf.)
International bidders please inquire with address zip information for shipping availability
and cost quote prior to bidding to be sure there are no surprises.
FOR THIS ITEM: I will ship International free if purchased at the Buy It Now price or if item sells for over $130 USD.
If it sells for less than $130 USD I'll ship for the stated shipping price of $16 USD(postage/packaging/handling), So,
Please ask for invoice upon purchase for proper shipping applied.
USPS First-Class Mail® International Parcel (overseas) states $14.77 USD for 1LB 8-OZS, and $16.31 USD for up to 1LB 12-OZS,
so $16 will cover shipping even if package ends up weighing over a pound and a half. I package very well, and sturdy
packaging can sometimes drive the cost above the stated cost, and when that happens I gladly cover the difference
to ensure item safety. This item will likely weigh at least 1LB 8 ounces to 1LB 11 ounces packaged properly.
Now A Few Words About My Packaging & Shipping Costs:
I state what I charge to ship, so, if you don't agree with the price don't bid. In my opinion buyers who know the
stated shipping cost, yet bid on and win the item, should not be able to leave a rating for shipping costs.
Example- If actual postage is $5.60 to maybe $6.20 (States farthest from me(west coast etc.) cost on average
$1 per LB more than the rest of the USA destinations hence $7.50 with $1 refund for closer destinations),
and I charge $6.50, that leaves $.90 to maybe .30 cents for packaging & handling. That small amount covers
this- In most cases the boxes are free USPS boxes, but sometimes I have to custom build boxes to provide the
strongest package possible for item safety and still weigh under certain LBS. I separate cars/cards with tissue
and cushion with bubble wrap, as well as sometimes custom contain in cardboard before placing in box(double
box) with news paper or more bubble. I use hot glue to affix ALL flaps and corners when assembling boxes for a
ridged build, and with medium to large mailing boxes I hot glue a second cardboard layer to inside of box doubling
thickness and crush resistance, which does add a bit to package weight, though the extra weight is very necessary
for item safety and peace of mind shipping for YOU and I. It's the way I do it and that's that. I have disappointedly
received items that were damaged because packaging was too easily crushed, the item may have been fine when
packaged but flimsy packaging and the subsequent damage that can occur is the sellers responsibility to avoid
by over packing well enough to survive the inevitable. So, when I've packaged your item/s, I have spent some time,
materials, and plenty of thought and effort to securely package them, then I supply paper and ink to print
labels, apply them with tape, and finally deliver to the Post Office. All that for around .50 cents to a $1.10, what
a deal when you consider Pack n Ship would likely charge $6 or more just to pack up a single Hot Wheel.
I've packed up and shipped 55 lb stereo amps to just a single Hot Wheel and have yet to hear that an item
I sent was damaged in shipping do to poor packing. That is what it's all about and why I charge what I do.
With that said, bid with confidence that items will arrive as they were sent. If by chance an item I packaged
is damaged in shipping, it would most likely be due to extreme mishandling by the delivery service.
Thank you, D
I will combine shipping @ 1.00 per each additional HW's car won in my other auctions ending within 3 days
of first win or per communication otherwise. Some larger carded die cast(Johnny Lightning, M2 Machines, etc. )
also @ $1 each additional. As always once combined package weight and actual cost is known a refund may be
issued. Typically 3-4 cars can be shipped in a 1 lb package. As always, when combining wins into one package
I only charge for postage on final weight plus a dollar or two(depending on size of order/box) for P&H. Therefor
I issue shipping refunds once shipped when more than $1 of difference than total of what was paid overall.
Thanks for looking!
