The table was easy to put together, with easy instructions and everything fitting together nicely. The actual playing surface is a bit disappointing in the sense it is just a plastic sticker probably over MDF board. I thought the playing surface would have been solid wood. Other than that you can't beat the price as most entry level tables start at a minimum of $800. The table is easy to level and the playing surface is perfectly flat and holding up so far. If you don't want to drop a lot of cash on a table and have found, like I have, that the life cycle of games in a game room is 3-4 years max, than this is a good value. If you absolutely love shuffleboard and think you'll be using the table for over 3 years I would recommend investing in a better table.

Ok, the table is a lot of fun and the family loves it BUT there are a few things that need to be upgraded and wouldn't cost much more than the original plans. First thing i would change would be the adhesive on Atomic labels on both ends of the table to something a little bit stronger, second i would change the adhesive on the laminants holding down the actual playing surface sides, i noticed mine were pulling away from the the slab. Third i would give wax recommendations for a 9' table play surface, the higher the wax number the slower the table surface will play. Just a few observations i have made using the table but overall happy with my purchase.
