If you are looking at this you know how special this car is. In fact, the AR1 is more in the category of rolling art rather than simply an automobile. Not only is the AR1 truly beautiful but it is also incredibly fun to drive. I took the car out of storage today, gave it a good washing and drove it around the block a few times. What a fantastic and fun car to drive. Everything worked perfectly!
Few other cars can realistically be considered an investment, but this extremely rare and beautiful Top Tier Aston Martin is a BLUE CHIP all the way. I've enjoyed this for the last four years and now its time to pass it on. Enjoy it in good health! The Aston Martin DB AR1 is a limited-edition grand tourer that was made by Aston Martin and Zagato for the United States market in 2003.
The AR1 name stands for American Roadster 1. It was introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2003, Aston Martins desire for a truly unique super car rekindled the relationship between Aston Martin and Italian coachbuilder Zagato, which had started with the iconic DB4 GT Zagato in 1961.

This very special roadster was built as a strictly limited production run of only 99 cars. The DB AR1 is a very special vehicle, even among Aston Martins. The AR1, or American Roadster, is a purpose built touring car meant to typify open top motoring.
Only 99 examples were produced for sale; Aston Martin built one additional example for their own factory collection. It has a top speed
of 186 mph (299 km/h) and a 0–60 mph acceleration time of 4.9 seconds.

The only flaws are a small chip on the bottom of the front air-dam, you have to get nearly to the ground to see it "see closeup picture" and a small repaired rock chip in the windshield which I haven't been able to find, but I know its there somewhere.
