i bought the ipod for my 9 year old granddaughter and even if it beyond my reach she has been unable to put it down 24/7 she can work it l.ike a twenty year old. i'm keeping it down to three hours a day use for her with the understanding that if she in anyway forget to do her homework, household duties etc., it will be reduced and she has been one hundred percent doing all that is required of her best thing i have had for her

When using iOS 11 battery life is greatly reduced. You get less than 10 hours when using bluetooth. You must be diligent about turning off all items that uses wifi when not using iPod because these apps really deteriorate battery life. BUT...recharges quickly within 2 ours.

Purchased for my 11 year old son... loves it.. I love the fact that I can communicate with him when we aren’t together (can connect to any WiFi) but I don’t have to keep up with a monthly phone bill. Not the longest battery life but charges quickly.

Overall this is a great product, other than the poor battery life. I’d say the battery lasts about two hours or so, but at least the lightning cable charges it fast.

The 6th generation iPod is really nice and the operating system has some great bells and whistles. But the battery life is worse than my 5th generation model. I can't figure out why the battery needs to be charged every few days, even when I haven't used the device.
