This G4 800MHz processor works with either the Macintosh Quicksilver or Digital Audio G4. It was originally a 733MHz processor from a Quicksilver G4 but I overclocked it to 800MHz and ran it for several years in a Digital Audio G4. It runs perfectly stable with the stock Digital Audio heatsink and was working fine when I pulled it. These processors can be overclocked even higher with active cooling but I never tried it. Note: In order to use this processor in a Digital Audio G4 the 4th mounting point must have +12V. This can be done by modifying a molex drive power extension cable and connecting the +12V (yellow wire) to the mounting point with a short screw and nut. Information on processor:
