This brassie is 44 1/2" in length, has a straight hickory shaft with a polished wood finish. The shaft is stamped A.G.  Spalding Gold Medal below the grip. The leather grip appears original, and is in perfect condition as is the whipping.  The head is whipped in the normal manner at the neck. The finish on the head appears original. The crown is stamped E. Martin, Los Angeles. The square cut face is in excellent condition. The head has a lead back weight and brass sole plate with a nice patina.
