Up for auction is an antique/vintage net lace veil adorned with stunning Schiffli needlelace trim. The veil is over 90" long ....the swipe about 104" . The head piece ( a small thin wire band with comb ) has two tiers of gathered delicate lace , the back 4" deep the front lace 3" deep. The forehead and sides are accented with Schiffli needlelace . I found four very small holes (size of a pea) in the lace plus a few dark spots from age....all in all ....very nice vintage condition. The color is a soft ecru/off white. A perfect veil for display or to wear with your vintage gown! Insurance is included in the shipping fee. Thank you for looking! |
