Description: Here we have a very unique oak round top pedestal table. This table has a large ringed and carved center pedestal that stops just shy of the floor. The table is actually supported by 4 lions paw feet on curved stretcher legs that surround the pedestal. This table was made by the Choat Hollister Furniture Co of Janesville, WI. This company burned in 1899 and never reopened so the table had to have been made in the late 1800's. There is a portion of a label on the bar that supports the leaves that reads "CHOAT MANUFACTUR JA". There is another partial label under the table that reads "FROM E HOLLISTER FURNITURE CO URESRS OF EXTENSION TABLES JANESVILLE WIS USA". This table is in excellent condition for its age. The top of the table may have been refinished at some point. There are a couple of surface scrapes but it is in excellent condition for its age. There are 3 leaves that go with this table and they do have a little more wear than the table. This is a beautiful golden oak table. I do not know the maker or exact date this was made. It is antique and may not be perfect. Measurements are; table without leaves 30 inches tall, 45 ¾ inches side to side and inches 45 front to back. It weighs 91 pounds. Table with leaves; 30 inches tall, 69 ¾ inches side to side and 45 inches front to back. It weighs 116 pounds. Each leaf measures ¾ inch tall, 8 inches side to side and 45 inches front to back. All 3 leaves weigh a total of 25 pounds.
