I have an old Stair Newel for Sale. I am starting the bidding at $.77 so that many of you will have a chance to own this unique item.
I have found an old stair newel in a the attic of an old warehouse. It is dark. It is very rustic. It has lots of cracks and is just what some decorator is looking for. There is an old metal bracket on one side where it was attached to the stair. The size is 8" X 8" X 40". It will not give most homes the finished touch they want but it would look great in a lodge or log cabin. I can't make a judgement structurally but decoratively it is an architectural treasure.
