Very nice early 1900s turned maple hardwood box. This box is nearly identical (1/4" smaller) to a Johnson & Johnson "Adhesive Plaster for Chiropodists" box I have in my collection. Made of the same wood and has the exact same decorative banding. This box retains its original deep honey colored finish and was polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax. Measurements are 3 1/4" tall x 2 1/2" in diameter. Inside measurement is approximately 2 1/16" in diameter and 3" tall. No splits or cracks in the wood. It has a flat bottom. Lid fits nicely on base. Ready to be
displayed or gifted. Use it as desk accessory or on your dresser to store small items. No reserve!
Very Fast Handling — in the mail day after payment is received! Winning item will be carefully wrapped and sent in a box via First Class Mail with Tracking. If you are interested in vintage collectable items or antiques, please check my other listings. |
