Over the next few days i am going to sell all my C mount 16mm lenses ( over 15 pieces-Meyer,Angenieux,Kern,Dallmeyer SuperSix-only great lenses in superbe condition)-have a look at my auctions to see them all.
C mount was used in many professional or advanced 16mm and 8mm cine cameras, and some early video camera.
This kind of lenses are now much sought after because they can be adapted to the new mirrorless DSLR cameras-Micro4/3 from Olympus and Panasonic,Sony Nex --and very likely to the much anticipated Nikon J1 and V1 cameras(the adapter is finaly available on Ebay)
A French made Angenieux 75mm F2,4 C mount lens.(cobranded with Bell &Howell name-as it was used on one of their cameras)
The lens is in very nice condition--there are normal signs of use on its body-but nothing bad.
Of corse that it is in full working order.
Apperture is opening and closing as should.
Focussing is smooth-with perfect infinity focus.
Glass is in very nice condition--no fungus,no haze or such problems(maybe a few specs of dust inside--but you tell me what 1960,s lens doesnt have that)
I have used this on a Panasonic G1 Micro4/3 camera -with great results.(the sample pictures are taken with it ,earlier today)
As one would expect from such a fast lens--the bokeh is fantastic--but i think the pictures can tell the story better than words.(if you want to see the full resolution files-please email me about it)
This fully cover the sensor--has beautiful color rendition, superb bokeh soft look when shooting at F2,4 --and the getting more and more sharp when stopping down.
The camera is of corse not included in this sale-its there just for you to see the size of the lens on the camera.
Selling vintage lenses is always tricky--what see as a beautiful piece of glass from the history of photography--other will consider a junk -just because it doesnt look like a lens you buy new-Lets not be unresonable in expectations about the condition of a 1960,s item--this is a superbe condition lens(the pictures prove it) but if you are one of the many condition obsessed buyers out there--whell..think twice before bidding on it--what you want does not exist in real life.
I am selling this As Is,as a vintage collectible lens-with NO returns or refunds.
EMS Express (with tracking)takes 5-7daysweeks to arrive ,depending on destination. The shipping price i have is just an estimation--it could be less for inside Europe ,or more for some distant country.Wait for my invoice ,after the auction ends, that will have exact shipping price for your country.
If you have any problems with any of my auctions, pls contact me before leaving feedback-and i will do all in my power to make you happy.
Check out my other auctions for more great photographica products--something new every week.
