ITEM DESCRIPTION

DOLL:

This American Girl Emily doll is in excellent condition.  She has been cleaned, from top to toes. She has soft ginger-color hair, and blue eyes.  She has thick eyelashes, good sleep eyes, Pleasant Company stamped on the back of her neck and a body tag that says American Girl 2008.  Her limbs are firm, she has long strings, and no "x" on her bottom.  She has no odors and I can detect no marks on her body or limbs.  Her hair is soft and shiny and I do not believe it has been cut (see picture.) 

EMILY'S STORY:  Emily Bennett is growing up in 1944, in London,  when the world is at war.  Her parents send her to America when London is being bombed and living is difficult.  She lives with Molly McIntire and her family.  Emily is quiet and shy while Molly is much more out-going, but the girls find they have many things in common.  They both like the English princesses, both love dogs, and both worry about loved ones back in England.         

CLOTHING/OUTFITS:

1. Emily's authentic American Girl Meet Outfit:  dress with cherry blossoms and red dotted sash, white "knickers/panties," red socks, shiny t-strap shoes.  

2. New in Box, Emily's Accessories(new):  cardigan sweater (a gift from her Aunt Primrose,)  her grandfather's dog tags (reminds her to be a good soldier for England,) English 3 pence coin, scrapbook with pictures of her family and the English princesses.   

3. (non AG) red, white, and blue tap costume.  This outfit has been well-played with, but is similar to the costume Emily wore in her dance program.                

4.  New American Girl Emily's pajamas:  warm flannel pj's with lace-trimmed top that buttons in the front.   

5. American Girl Emily's recital outfit ( used for her flutophone solo in her school program):  mint-green dress with peter pan collar, sheer bodice and sleeves. tiered skirt, white t-strap shoes.                       

6.  New (non AG) beach outfit:  2-piece swimsuit, new towel, beach ball, yellow capri pants.        

7. New shiny red raincoat and rain hat.                  

8.  American Girl Soccer outfit:  turquoise soccer jersey, black shorts, turquoise socks, cleats, soccer ball, duffel bag.             

9.  Non AG winter outfit:  plaid skirt, long-sleeve tee shirt, puffy winter jacket, black shoes, plaid scarf.   

10. American Girl "Sugarplum" coat:  long, Empire-waist wool blend coat with faux-fur and frog closures.      

11.  American Girl "Sparkly Sport" outfit:  cargo pants with pink camouflage cuffs, knit top with glitter and rhinestones, new (non AG) pink shoes.    

12.  New in box, American Girl "Innerstar U Outfit;"  fleece hoodie sweatshirt, athletic pants, canvas sneakers, "Confident" charm for her charm-keeper necklace.   (Back of shirt was a little snagged from velcro when I put it on the doll.0           

ACCESSORIES:

1.  Molly's authentic bed:  soft, sporty red upholstered headboard that matches the bedspread, mattress that velcroes to the bed and to the spread, and new (non AG) red and white striped pillow.           

2.  New bedding:  new pillow and zebra-print trim on pillowcase, new reversible blanket (zebra print/ white minky-dot.)              

3. New wig brush for Emily's hair (not AG.)                  

4.  One new white "play and display" stand (no tag.)  (I try to provide one of these for each doll.  Hopefully the doll will stand in this when it's not being played with.  I believe it will help protect the doll's eyes.)     

5.  Emily's American Girl (new in box) dog, Yank, with red ribbon collar and tag with "Y" on it.    

6.  Folding, red nylon beach chair (not AG, in excellent condition.)     

7.  New in box, one dozen American Girl hangers for the doll clothes.  (Some people on Ebay sell these for $29.00)    

8. New in box: mini Emily doll and mini Emily book--never removed from box.             

9. American Girl "Brave Emily" book.   

10.  American Girl "Emily" box--shows some wear.  Emily will  be shipped, attached to the box. 

PAYMENT/SHIPPING/RETURNS

I only accept PayPal and will only ship to a confirmed PayPal address.  I will ship within 2 business days after payment has been received. 

All items are described as accurately as possible.  I do not claim to be an American Girl expert so please read descriptions, view all photos, and email me any questions you have before bidding. Used items have been purchased on eBay so I cannot attest to their history.  (I do have pets in my house, but they don't play with the doll items. This is a non-smoking home.)  I am not trying to sell to collectors because I just do not know what you want.  I am a grandma who buys and sell the types of things that my granddaughters like to play with.  I describe to the best of my ability.  However, if I don't mention something and it isn't in a picture, it is not included. 

Items will be shipped UPS Ground.  I wrap and ship the day that payment is cleared by Paypal and UPS ships quickly.
