I pretty much bought this because I thought it would elaborate more about aircraft and current information about them, but only one hour was devoted to aircraft and it was more of a timeline which touched more on historical aircraft than modern aircraft in my opinion. I would recommend it if you need a history lesson of different machines used in the past. If you're like me and know a lot of the history already and just wanted to see in depth information on aircraft, this is not for you.
The hours of watching is unbelievable for the money. Should be entertainment for years to come. So much information you will have to watch again and again. I can not tell you about picture quality or how exciting the story is told because I bought it for a Christmas gift for one of my children that is going to college to be a aerospace engineer. I can't wait for it to be opened and viewed. Should be loads of historical and modern film work.
A collection of junk they probably got for free. They re-use a lot of footage in one section after another. Tedious history stuff you could get off Wickapedia, and manufacturers' photos and specs. This is nowhere near as good as you would get on cable tv.
