Allure Bridals Style 8764
"A sophisticated design with beautiful details. This slim line gown features two separate layers. The first layer is created from a sexy charmeuse satin, while the lace overlay creates an elegant look."

Fabric: Charmeuse and English Net
This is a lovely lace and satin dress by Allure Bridals. It has a very classic look recalling images of vintage romantic elegance. It has a slim a-line silhouette and multiple layers of satin and lace netting. There are delicate cap sleeves that extend just over the shoulder and accent the deep v-neck. The left shoulder is embellished with beautiful lace applique flowers with crystal accents. At the neck there are 5 satin covered buttons and an additional 23 down the lower back, all with elastic loops. The bias-cut of the satin hugs all the curves and the gentle drape of the lace keeps the fit modest. The English netting lace swoops down the back for a gorgeous sweep train.
SIZE - 6 / 8
The tag in the dress says size 12, but it was altered down several sizes. It fits like a street size 6 or 8. The top is closer to a 6, the bottom closer to an 8.
At 34D-27-38 the dress fit me well, but had plenty of wiggle room. It would probably comfortably fit someone this size or slightly larger.
EDIT: Measurements of the dress FLAT across the back of the satin lining. It is cut on the bias so it has some give (and nicely round out curves), these numbers are with the dress flat and not stretched. I did not measure the lace; if the satin fits, the lace should be fine.
Underarm to underarm: ~16" - This is across the open back and does not include room for cups.
Smallest point of waist: ~14"
Widest point of hips: ~18"
LENGTH - Floor Length
The dress is currently very long. My seamstress said it would not be difficult to shorten as the bottom row of lace is appliques that could be removed and resewn.
I am 5'6" tall, wore platforms heels about 4.25" high and it just touched the ground in the front.
Shoulder to hem in the front is approximately 62 inches.
Shoulder to hem in the back is approximately 76 inches.
In addition to being taken in through the bust and midriff, a few other alterations were done. Cups with a slight pushup (see photo) were sew into the satin between the two front layers. A single french bustle was added (the under layer has a loop that catches another loop from the lace and then loops over a button on the satin). The lace overlay was taken in at the shoulders to raise the bust (the fabric is still intact and could be let back out), the satin was not shortened. The lace overlay was carefully tucked in a few places around the keyhole back to make it lay flat.
This dress is in very good condition. I will try to be as straightforward as possible with any flaws, as we all hate surprises.
There are some spots on the inside of the bottom-back of the satin lace from being stepped on by my heels. As this is on the inside of the dress, it really isn't visible unless the dress isn't being worn. This area is visible in one of the above pictures.
The hem of the satin has some snags/rough spots from being worn on concrete. Again, this is under the lace and isn't visible unless you have the bottom of the dress turned upward to look at it.
The only visible flaw I could find was a lightly discolored spot on the bottom-back of the lace. This is circled in one of the pictures. I have not tried to clean this spot, but anticipate it would likely come out.
The dress has not been dry cleaned since worn, but has been stored hanging in the original Bridal Warehouse bag.
1-2 The first two pictures are stock photos from Allure.
3 Full length photo of the front of the dress.
4 Closeup of the back, keyhole, and buttons. (The thing hanging out under the top buttons is my necklace and not any part of the dress.)
6 Front of the dress, laid flat and spread.
7 Rear of the dress, laid flat and spread.
9 Satin covered buttons.
10 Top back.
11 Top front.
12 Sewn-in cups.
