It's a great sounding amp. Great value for the money. This is the "L" version which has level controls on the front panel. If you don't really need level controls you should look into the std. model as these can become noisy with static and can't be fixed. Rather than replace them, I actually bypassed them so they are no longer in the circuit. I had a chance to compare this to a Hafler DH-120 which is also 60w/chan. and this Adcom GFA-535 blew it away. I'm a big Hafler fan, I have several DH-220's in my system that I've modified. I haven't modified this DH-120 yet, but in stock form the Adcom wins hands down and I can't wait to perform a few modifications on both of them and see how they turn out. That's what I do, it's my hobby.
