This superb card will run in all Mac Pros and is an excellent upgrade from stock cards. This is currently the fastest video card available from Apple and now you can order it at a better price. 2 Dual-link DVI ports, Display Port, and HDMI allow you to utilize a diverse monitor arrangement. If run in a 5,1 Mac Pro, the card can output audio through Display Port or HDMI.

All Mac from 2008 3,1 through today are equipped with PCIE 2.0. Why buy a card running at the slower PCIE 1.0 Spec? EVERY OTHER EBAY SELLER has crippled cards running at 2.5 GT/s. Ask them !!!

Note: this card does not have support for Mini Display Port.  Also note that like ALL OTHER flashed 5770 cards, the only way to see a boot screen is to use VGA display. To run 3 displays, at least one needs to be NATIVE DIsplayport, or you need an active Displayport to DVI adapter. Requires OS 10.6.5 or later.
