Made in the USA in the days of over-engineering. Surface dust was blown out, and to my eye this keyboard looks relatively good and fairly evenly "tanned" for a vintage item that is predisposed to 

color change (please see photos). 

  

May be expected to work with any Macintosh with an ADB bus, and the Apple IIGS as well. Some have reported using this model with later computers via an ADB-USB adapter, or even non-Apple OSs. Of course check your system specifications to be sure of compatibility before bidding. 

Will not get into a debate whether the Extended II is ultimate best of all Full Sized models. Whether Alps or Mitsumi mechanism, users will agree that the the tactile experience is different from current keyboards. Most think the default height and angle is great. The Extended II rear sliding height adjuster (which most

users never notice) was in no way a perfect design, and is almost never easy. To use this feature, it's 

probably best to 

combine multiple pulls or pushes along the extending bottom 

"blade" 

in the desired 

direction, 

along with the forceful slide effort.

Visually oriented enthusiasts may wish to "detail" the keyboard (swabs, isopropyl 

alcohol, micro-vacuuming, 

etc., 

top, 

between and under

, keytops, nooks and crannies). 

Vintage veterans may 

be familiar with "retr0bright" or similar chemical processes to 

lessen the effect of 

the intrinsic predisposition of keyboard flame-retardant plastic to 

yellowing over time. 

(This unit was not immune, but I've seen far, far worse.) Internal 

access generally may 

require screw removal, prying around the periphery, anand lifting 

off the top panel.
