ANTIQUE ENAMELWARE Teapot w/CHINOISERIE Chinese Scene Enamel Ware French? Metal


Offered for sale is this unusual antique enamelware teapot.  It features a chinese type scene of a woman - I believe she is known as "Long Eliza".  It came from an estate that had a lot of French metal pieces so I was thinking it might be French but I am far from an expert in this area so please examine the photos.

SIZE:  The teapot measures approximately 8 inches across including spout and handle by 4.5 inches high.

CONDITION:  There is wear and rust to the enamel.  The worst of it is around the rim of the lid and the edges of the spout and on the inside.  Please let the many pictures be your guide to the condition and ask if you have any specific questions that aren't covered.

MARKS:  It is signed on the bottom "J." and "10." as shown.
